uhh okay, so where do i even start. so basically,my name is Ridah and i'm a normal 15 year old living in my beautiful home state,
California. I'm a sophomore in high school, and i'm pretty much discovering new aspects of life everyday :).
my nationality? both my parents were born and raised in Pakistan, so I guess that makes me of Pakistani descent. if that makes any sense... but anywhoz, yes i'm religious. I wouldn't say to the extreme level, but i've been a muslim my whole life and have been taught islam ever since I could remember. I'm never afraid to look up to Allah when I need to, and he's always there.
I have a brother who is about 7 1/2 years younger than me (haha yes, it's a big age difference) His name is Zarek :)
Music is my life. It's always been there for me, when people weren't. (especially country music shhh ;))Ever since I was about 8 years old, I've had a love for singing. It's my absolute favorite thing to do, and it will always be. And people tell me that I'm pretty good at it, so I can't be that bad I guess :). I've always had big dreams of being a singer, and still hope to pursue them one day. I'm auditioning for American Idol S13, and let's just hope i make it through. But if things don't work out the way I planned, I'm just happy with what I have.
Like everyone else, I have a few bad habits. For example, I procrastinate like crazy. I'm the type of person who stays up late, and decides to do their work at the last minute. uhh... i'm also incredibly lazy( but that doesn't mean I don't get my work done). Just like any other teenager, I'm insecure about a lot of things. I'm one of those who compares themselves to people a lot and I try to convince myself everyone is better than me. I'm also a really picky eater if that counts as a bad habit. And there's just so many more...
I dislike reading. I always have and I probably always will. I would prefer math to reading any day.
I enjoy writing, but a lot of the time i just come off as pretentious. I write songs, though, and I've been told I'm good at it. oh, and I recently developed an interest in psychology. I'm not sure where that came from, but i just really like it :)
